The Objetives of the Institute

ILS is a center of scientific characteristics, created to promote the development of studies, research and teaching of Labor and Social Security  Law and all matters related to the labor issues and affairs.  The specific objectives of the institute are:

– Organize and carry out educational activities and research papers and studies related to Labor Law and Social Security matters.

– Publish and distribute papers and books about Labor Law and Social Security for study and reference purposes.

– Promote and divulge the Labor and Social Security Legislation, both Dominican and  foreign for comparison and adapting purposes.

- Develop and organize workshops, seminars and conferences about the applications for  Labor and Social Security Law, addressed to the general public and/or enterprises and a particular group of companies as required.
